ATPL Exam

✈️ ATPL (Airline Transport Pilot Licence)

The Gold Standard for Airline Careers

The ATPL theoretical knowledge exams are the most comprehensive step in a pilot’s training. Passing these exams is required for anyone aiming to act as the Pilot-in-Command (Captain) of large commercial aircraft. Most student pilots sit for the “Frozen ATPL,” which allows them to work as a First Officer immediately upon flight training completion.

Note: If you are a student pilot on an integrated or modular path aiming for major airlines, this is likely the exam block you need to book.

🚁 CPL (Commercial Pilot Licence)

The Professional Entry Point

The CPL exams are designed for pilots who wish to fly for remuneration (get paid to fly) but may not initially require the full scope of an ATPL. This license allows you to act as Pilot-in-Command in single-pilot commercial operations or as a co-pilot on certain aircraft.

👥 MPL (Multi-Crew Pilot Licence)

The Airline-Specific Pathway

The MPL is a competency-based license designed specifically for pilots training directly for a specific airline in a multi-crew environment. Unlike the traditional CPL/ATPL path, the MPL focuses heavily on Crew Resource Management (CRM) and human factors from the very beginning of training.
